This prestigious international competition had an original field of over 6,100 writers and included three prior rounds in which I achieved 1st, 1st, and 2nd place for works created from contest prompts. “One Hundred Daughters” is a timeless fairy tale that follows a poacher’s son on a journey of loss and love.
